Post Hi - where are the maps in the Material pool
Hi there - love the app but one question - I see complete MATERIALS but no maps in the Material pool (I'm assuming they're hidden from view but cannot seem to unlock them - help!)

EDIT : NJ does see light projector images but not MATERIAL submaps in the MPool - I have pressed every button available

Thanks

J. :x

Hi,

thanks for your request.
Don't you see in your "Default"-Group e.g. the "Maps-2D", "Maps-3D", etc. items?

The Materialpool should look by default like this:

p.s. The material pool only shows the top maps/mtls -> no hierarchical tree view, so you cannot see in the pool for instance the two submaterials of a Blendmaterial.

I actually meant in the Dynamic scene lib - if I wish for example to reuse a map from within the scene I have to pull it up from another material wich is a bit time consuming - what am I doing wrong.

Thanks for the response btw.

ah, ok, well currently we don't have a tree view in the scene lib.
The list view only shows the top materials used in the max scene.
But a treeview for the pool is already on our feature list.

Cheers,
Roman
